Background
Checks
All
activities are required to conduct background checks on Managers, Coaches, Board
of Directors members and any other adults, volunteers or hired workers, who
provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or
contact with, players or teams.
Individuals are also required to complete and submit a
Volunteer Application. The Little League Organization will use the form supplied
by the Little League Office.
A
local league must conduct a search of the operated statewide sex offender
registry.
Persons who have lived in New Jersey for less than 1 year, or who reside in a neighboring state that does not maintain a sex offender registry must submit to a full background check.
